http://secunia.com/advisories/35397/

DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in xcftools, which can be exploited
by malicious people to potentially compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the

specially crafted image.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0.4. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Do not process untrusted files with xcftools.

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
