DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Apache Shiro, which can be
exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when normalizing URL
paths for the path-matching logic and can be exploited to bypass
path-based filters using directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.0.0-incubating.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.1.0.
